Most library programs for preschoolers take place on weekday mornings. But if you or your spouse is at work then, how can you bring your child to storytimes?
We feel your pain! The library offers regular storytimes on evenings and weekends to accommodate differing schedules. Try Saturday Tales, offering stories and fun for families, at Headquarters, Porter, Salem Church or Snow. The Newton and Montross branches offer preschool storytimes on Saturdays as well. These programs are geared to ages five and under and include songs, fingerplays and stories for children and their parents or caregivers.
Books Before Bedtime is a popular program at the Porter and Headquarters Libraries, where it's offered most Thursday evenings at 7:00. Bedtime Tales takes place monthly on Tuesday evenings at the Salem Church Library. Pajamas welcome!
Check upcoming schedules for these and other children's programs on the library's Calendar page.
