Marvin Redpost: A Flying Birthday Cake by Louis Sachar. Was that really
a flying saucer Marvin saw? And who is this new kid, Joe Normal, who
seems so strange? [There are more Marvin Redpost books in the series.]

Sarah, Plain and Tall by Patricia MacLachlan. Anna and Caleb hope that
Sarah will become Pa's new wife, but Sarah is homesick for the sea.
[There are two sequels to this wonderful story.]

Song Lee and the Hamster Hunt by Suzy Kline. When Song Lee brings her
pet hamster to school, the whole class falls in love with him - but then
he escapes! [Suzy Kline has written lots of funny books about kids in
school if you like this one.]

Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Babe Ruth Baseball by David A. Adler.
Cam uses her photographic memory to identify the person who stole a
valuable autographed baseball. [There are lots more in the Cam Jansen
series.]

Ghost Trap: A Wild Willie Mystery by Barbara M. Joosse. Willie has
problems. His friends Lucy and Kyle are fighting. Can these three
sleuths cooperate and trap a ghost that is haunting Kyle's house?

twenty seven in the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne. This one is titled Thanksgiving on Thursday and it is about Jack and Annie,as are all the very popular Magic Tree House books.

If you enjoyed this book you would probably like the other titles in
this series too. The newest Magic Tree House book that we have at the
library is number thirty three:

Carnival at Candlelight
While on a mission to prove to Merlin that they can use magic wisely,
