If you like "The Things With Wings"...

I'm glad you are using our Book Match service and I hope I can help you find another good book. Since you liked The Things With Wings I should tell you that our library system doesn't even own that book. I looked it up and read what it was about and as far as I hope I have some good suggestions for you.

Take a look at Five Children and It by Edith Nesbit. It is the story of four brothers and sisters who disco er a Psammead (a sand-fairy) in the gravel pit near the country house where they are staying, they have no way of knowing all the adventures its wish-granting will bring them.

You might also like The Young Merlin Trilogy by Jane Yolen. These three books (Passager, Hobby and Merlin) tell the legendary story of the greatest wizard of all time from his abandonment at age eight to the discovery of his powers.
