Thanks for requesting a Book Match! There are lots of great picture books to share with 2- and 4-year old girls! Here are a few ideas.

Princess Books:
The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch
Princess Elizabeth is to marry Prince Ronald when a dragon attacks the castle and kidnaps Ronald. In resourceful and humorous fashion, Elizabeth finds the dragon and rescues Ronald --- who is less than pleased at her un-princess-like appearance.

Thanks for visiting our website and requesting a Book Match! I like Jim Arnosky too. The library has quite a few other books by him that you might also enjoy, such as: All About Lizards and All About Sharks. These books are like All about Owls except they are about other animals instead. Jim Arnosky has also written some fiction books that you might like. For example, the book Every Autumn Comes the Bear is a story about a bear who roams around the woods in the Fall preparing to hibernate for the winter.

Thanks for requesting a Book Match. If you like funny books like the ones you mention, here are some suggestions from our Beginning Reader section:

Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb by Al Perkins. Rhyming text describes what can be done on a drum with hand, fingers, and thumb.

Cat Is Back At Bat by John Stadler. Fourteen rhymed verses describe funny animals, for example, "A big pig tries a wig" and "A snake tries to bake a cake."

Thank you for requesting a Book Match! I haven't read the Warrior series yet, but I think you might enjoy these animal/fantasy books:

The tale of Despereaux : being the story of a mouse, a princess, some soup, and a spool of thread by Kate DiCamillo
The adventures of Despereaux Tilling, a small mouse of unusual talents, the princess that he loves, the servant girl who longs to be a princess, and a devious rat determined to bring them all to ruin.
