- American Association of University Professors - Professional organization open to all faculty, librarians, and academic professionals at two- and four-year accredited public and private colleges and universities.
- ARC - Rappahannock - Local chapter of the national organization solely devoted to advocating for children and adults with mental retardation, as well as their families.
- Birthright of Fredericksburg - "Birthright takes a "non-moralistic, non-judgmental" approach toward helping women through their pregnancy dilemmas."
- Capitol Choices, The Web site of the Capitol Choices Committee - A Web site of outstanding new books for children selected by librarians and booksellers in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
- Central Rappahannock Heritage Center Archives - The Heritage Center collects and archivally preserves for research the grass-roots history of the Central Rappahannock region---the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Stafford and Spotsylvania. A "people's archive," its broad ranging collections are a resource for all students of history, reflecting the family, business and cultural influences that have shaped the region.
- Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg - The Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg is a small ensemble dedicated to performing quality choral music in a wide variety of styles for the cultural enrichment of the community. From a capella singing to major chamber works with orchestra, this 24-voice group has been noted for its fine tuning, blended tone, wide range in dynamics, and expressive diversity.

- Fire and Rescue Volunteers of Spotsylvania County - dedicated to the Volunteers of Spotsylvania County, Virginia that provide Fire & Rescue services to their community.
- Fredericksburg Acoustic Roots - Promotes and presents acoustic musical performances in the Fredericksburg area.
- The Fredericksburg Community Concert Band is comprised of local Fredericksburg, Virginia, area musicians who rehearse weekly to provide concert band music for free public concerts and other special occasions.
- Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery - Organized on May 10, 1866, the Ladies' Memorial Association of Fredericksburg established, owns and maintains the Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery.
- Fredericksburg Cyclists - A non-profit organization which exists to provide organized bicycle rides for all categories of riding skills for its members. The club promotes bicycling in our area as a means of recreation, sport, fitness, and transportation. Moreover, the club seeks to promote the incorporation of bicycle-conscious initiatives by city and county governments into their development plans.
