Providing education and promoting awareness to improve health care services to our community is the goal of the Fredericksburg Area Sickle Cell Association led by Janice Davies, Lidia McCaskill, and a group of dedicated volunteers. Debby Klein visits Mrs. Davies and Mrs. McCaskill to learn about control of this disease and working toward a cure.

The Salem Church Branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library completed an expansion project in early 2009, that creates wonderful new spaces to serve patrons of all ages. Debby Klein visits Branch Manager Barbara Davison to see the finished project, learn how this was accomplished, and find out what to expect in services and programs.
