Kindergarten Library Card Campaign
As students start school we want to encourage reading and foster the beginnings of lifelong library use. We provide applications for each of your students and mail the library cards right to their homes. Winter 2012.
2nd Grade Storytelling
Students prepare for the SOLs as we reinforce their lesson on Chinese or Native American culture through stories and songs. In addition to requesting storytellers to visit your school, check out these supplemental booklists of Native American and Chinese folktales.
*Family Event Visits
Library instructors visit schools to promote books and CRRL resources at a school event, including homework and research support.
