Artist's Statement:

Through good fortune, opportunity, and foreign travel, my art career has taken various paths.

In Mexico I mastered and taught the art of creating handmade paper out of green natural growth. My visit to Japan inspired many of these collages which contain genuine Japanese cloth and papers. I love the sea and much of my work reflects the colors of the Caribbean Ocean. Birds in several collages were inspired by travel throughout South America. I am also a print maker and many of my collages have a background of my original prints.

Art is my passion which I hope to pursue for many more years.
