Job Help Center

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries and the Library have partnered to open a Job Help Center at the England Run Branch Library. We provide free training in basic keyboarding and computer use, application writing, effective interviewing, and résumé & cover-letter preparation. 

The Job Help Center is open 9:00 - 11:00, Tuesday through Thursday.  Appointments are required.  Call us at  540-899-1703 to make an appointment. 

GCFLearning

Improve your career skills by taking one of the online classes or tutorials offered at GCFLearnFree.org. This Goodwill Community Foundation site has classes for computer skills, literacy and math skills -- and all are free.
 
Visit www.gcflearnfree.org to see the wide range of tutorials on computer basics, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google, and more. There are some mobile apps on offer, so you can learn on the go!
 
View the class catalog at www.gcflearnfree.org/classes for the broad range of online classes. You can learn on your own time and at your own pace. All classes are completely free and will earn you accredited Continuing Education Units and a certificate of completion.
 
In addition, the career section will help you with career planning, job searching, resume writing, interviewing skills, and job success.
