Local Art Galleries
Fredericksburg has a lively arts community of visual and performing arts. Art galleries host First Friday art openings, most beginning at 6 p.m. Check the gallery sites for their current shows and featured artists. First Friday openings are regularly covered by The Free Lance-Star in their "Weekender" section published the Thursday before First Fridays. You may also consult the Calendar of Events in Front Porch fredericksburg Magazine, which usually includes a feature article in addition to the gallery listings.
