Festival of Community Makers Application

Made by Hand by Mark Frauenfelder

Our community is one of makers, people of all ages who, either individually or as a group, make things!  We want you to share your do-it-yourself passion and creativity with others at the Festival of Community Makers at England Run Branch on Saturday, September 14, from 3:00-5:00 pm.  Exhibit what you make!  Explain your making process!  We encourage demonstrations and hands-on activities!

Some of the topics we would like to show at the Festival of Community Makers include:

Arduino   *   Raspberry Pi   *   3D printing   *   Food arts   *   Sustainability   *   Textile arts   *
Repurposing of materials   *   Handmade toys   *   Handmade musical instruments   *
Electronics - robotics, remote control vehicles, etc.   *   Any and all crafts!   *
Any and all how-to demonstrations!

The Festival will be preceded at 2:00 pm with a presentation from Mark Frauenfelder, author of the book, Made By Hand: My Adventures in the world of Do-It-Yourself

Setup for the festival is from 1:00-1:45pm.
