Celebrate National Poetry Month with poetry readings by winners of the Teen Poetry Contest, as well as by our host and contest judge, Claudia Emerson. Professor Emerson was awarded the 2006 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry and is currently teaching at the University of Mary Washington. Grades 6 to adult. Wednesday, May 1, 7:30 - 8:30. Sign-up begins April 1.
A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it.
