Jumpstart's Read for the Record: October 21, 2014

Bunny Cakes by Rosemary Wells

Read for the Record TODAY!

You and your child can have fun while helping to break a world record!  During last year's Jumpstart's Read for the Record event, 2,462,860 participated. Jumpstart is hoping for even more readers this year, and the Central Rappahannock Regional Library is going to help them. Together on this special day, we'll celebrate literacy and support the Jumpstart organization in its efforts to promote early childhood education.

Visit your favorite library branch today to enjoy Bunny Cakes by Rosemary Wells, play a matching game, color your very own bunny ears, and give a hug to a Max cutout, perfect for photo opportunities.

If you can't make it into the branch, don't worry. Children and their caregivers can read the book online in English or Spanish. Plus, as an added bonus, for each free book you read online, they donate to literacy based organizations.

If you read it online, make sure you are counted. Below, tell us how many people - adults and kids - enjoyed it. It's an easy way to make a difference!

Please take a minute to enter how many people have read this book today (adults and children).
