In the summer, the library continues to offer our usual wide variety of children's classes, but we also have some special events and celebrations to further highlight the importance of summer reading.
Drop in for a rotating series of self-guided, discover-it-yourself activities! All promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and encourage critical thinking. Your children are learning while they have fun! Don’t forget to come back to enjoy the next one!

A View from the Top
Birds of prey have "superpowers" that make them successful hunters. The Wildlife Center of Virginia will bring live birds to teach us about these magnificent predators. Grades K-6. Sign-up begins May 1.
