When the family’s potato crop fails in Ireland, Mary’s family comes to America. Like many Irish immigrants they look forward to the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Mary wants to be a special part of the celebration and begins her search for a perfect shamrock in the city, in winter – impossible!
