If you like books by Kate DiCamillo

If you like books by Kate DiCamillo, here are some suggestions for books I think she might enjoy:

First, if you enjoyed Kate DiCamillo's writing style, you could always try more by the same author. Arguably, DiCamillo's most famous novel is Because of Winn Dixie.

Another great book to try is Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson.
It's a story of friendship and loss revolving around two friends who
create their own magical land, Terabithia, and are pretty much
inseparable until the day one of them is left to rule the land alone.

If you like Jan Brett...

I also love Jan Brett's books because her art work is so special. If
you have not seen any of her others you should look for them. Some of
my favorites (more snow pictures) are: Annie and the Wild Animals, The
Mitten: a Ukranian Folktale, The Wild Christmas Reindeer, Christmas
Trolls, and The Hat. If you visit the library you can find most of her
books in the Juvenile Easy Collection. There are many to choose from
and a librarian will be happy to help you.

Some other good stories with beautiful art work are:

or mystery:
