Salem Church Branch is hosting a series of information tables where you can pick up tips and techniques from safety experts. Stop by to chat with the friendly staff of local organizations on Tuesdays in July, beginning July 10, 11:00-2:00.
CRRL's newest MakerLab opened at Salem Church Branch beginning in April. This STEM exploration space includes hands-on activities and demonstrations for all ages, including a 3D printer, Ozobots, Snap Circuits, robot arms, Legos, and so much more. Regular hours for the Salem Church lab are every Friday, from 3:00-5:00.
This fall promises to be a busy one at Central Rappahannock Regional Library, with over 150 events, classes, and workshops offered for the young, the old, and the in-between. Let’s take a look at three of those events, chosen because they are happening soon, may be a bit unexpected as a library offering, or are inspiring opportunities.
Salem Church Branch is getting a face-lift thanks to Spotsylvania County Facilities Management. The entire interior of the library is currently being repainted. Painters from R.W. Hitt, Inc. are taking it section by section, but, in order to complete the project, the library will close most of the building on Thursday, September 22. That day the branch will open as an "express" and provide:
