Holds and Returns

We've been able to fulfill many existing holds, so we can now turn holds back on! Customers can place new holds on physical materials, and receive them through Curbside Pickup. To ensure that you get the materials you really want, you can Manage Your Holds, and if your pickup location is not a branch offering curbside pickup, you can Change Your Holds Pickup Location.

Starting Wednesday, July 8, we'll start accepting returns at branches which are offering curbside pickup. Initially, returns will be accepted only during curbside pickup hours to avoid overflowing bookdrops and to allow time to quarantine materials for everyone's safety. Materials can be returned only to bookdrops; staff cannot accept returned materials. It may take a week or more for returned items to show as checked in. Late fees will not accrue.
