These services are part of Central Rappahannock Regional Library's Universal Service Year 2022 E-Rate Application
All proposals are to be kept within the guidelines of the Universal Service Program (E-Rate).
The start date for these services is July 1, 2022.
Internet Services Requested:
The Library is seeking dedicated internet access services to the following Library's facilities.
Proposals must include availability and costing of internet service to BOTH branches.
Pricing must include availability and pricing for Month-to-Month, 1 year, 2 year, and 3 year contracts.
The data rates listed below are minimum downstream rates. Higher rates will be considered and upstream rates will be a factor in final selection. We are seeking gig port connections at each location but can go as low as 200 MB port connection.
The locations will require at least 2 static IP addresses.
The provider must include all costs associated with the provision of bringing the data line into the data centers at each of the following locations. This includes but is not limited to provision of fiber, conduit, pull strings, handboxes, and trenching if necessary. All bids will be presumed to include these costs.
While price will be the primary factor in awarding a contract, several other factors will be considered including ability to increase bandwidth without hardware upgrades, and coverage of all locations will also be considered.
Email addresses, web hosting space, and other services are not required and will not be factored into final selection.
