Regional Library System Agreement

Regional Library System Agreement

In 1993, Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s four funding localities passed a new regional agreement, replacing the one that had been in place since 1989. The 1993 agreement set forth terms of the regional library system including the operation of the library’s Board of Trustees, the formula used to calculate each localities’ funding obligation, development of future library branches, and the steps required for a locality to withdraw from the regional system. The agreement remains in place today.
