Uniquely Fredericksburg is an arts show celebrating works inspired by the Fredericksburg experience, sponsored by the Central Rappahannock Regional Library in partnership with the Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts.

Judge: JeanAnn Dabb
JeanAnn Dabb is a professor of Art and Art History at the University of Mary Washington. She holds a B.A. from Weber State College, an M.A. from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

• All artists (ages 18 and up) are invited to apply.
• Artistic works must be inspired by the Fredericksburg  experience - scenes, sites and people.
• Entries must be original and completed in the last five years. No repeat entries.
• Works must be framed and ready to hang with two hooks or screw-eyes for wire attachment.

Entry fee:

$25 for first piece, $10 for each additional piece
Artists make checks payable to the CRRL


• Slide metal hooks to the top of metal frames
• Put screw eyes 2” from top on wooden frames
• Size requirements: frame size must be no smaller than 11” x 14”
• No gallery clips
• All work must be for sale, priced to reflect a 20% commission. Buyers make checks payable to the CRRL.

The Art First Gallery/Judith Merrill Emerging Artist Award:
Art First Gallery is generously offering a $100 award to the work they judge as the best in show from an emerging artist.
Criteria: Artist should not have had artwork accepted in a previous CRRL Uniquely show. Please indicate on the application if your work is also entered for the Emerging Artist prize.
