CRRL's access to OverDrive's digital magazines was provided by the Library of Virginia as part of the Find it VA collection. The Library of Virginia has chosen to switch to the digital magazine provider Magzter Library, which also has a robust collection but with some different options. Due to budget constraints at CRRL, we are unfortunately unable to purchase a direct subscription to OverDrive's magazine collection. As you become more familiar with Magtzer, we hope you will enjoy this service as well. We are not able to accept requests for individual digital magazine titles at this time.
The CRRL region includes Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Westmoreland. These localities supply a portion of their tax money to support the CRRL, and anyone who resides at or owns a property; a student, a teacher, county, or city government employee within the region may obtain a library card free of charge.
The library has reciprocal agreements with the counties of Caroline, Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange, and Prince William that allow those residents to obtain free cards either by showing a card from their library or proof of residency. All others outside CRRL's jurisdiction must pay an annual family fee of thirty dollars. Senior citizens (62+) pay fifteen dollars.

I received an email that my book is available to check out from OverDrive/Libby, but when I go to check it out, I don’t see it.
OverDrive holds are tied to the specific library card number that a you logged in with when you placed the hold. If they you don't log in to OverDrive or Libby with that same card number, you will not see the title waiting for them. We recommend checking to see if you/your family has multiple library cards and, if so, sign in with the other card/cards until you see the title you requested. You may also have used a family member's or friend's card without realizing it.
