Library Express Services
Staff have been hard at work ensuring safe customer access to our branches. And, of course, distributing materials through curbside pickup, which is now offered during all of the library’s open hours. Customers do not need to enter a branch to pick up materials they have placed on hold, and they are also able to return items to our bookdrops 24/7.
Our Library Express service enables us to provide branch access to the public while prioritizing customer and staff safety. Customers are now able to browse the collection; check out materials; use computers; and print, copy, scan, and fax. To make it simpler, appointments are no longer required. Masks covering face and nose, and temperature checks are required, and staff wear gloves when handling materials. Library Express visits are limited to 1 hour per day, and everyone is asked to maintain 6 feet physical distance. Eating and drinking are not permitted at this time. For everyone's safety, customers should not visit a branch if they have a fever, symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the preceding 14 days. Customers will have the option to check in via text or computer when they arrive to enable possible COVID-19 exposure notifications.
