Faxing, Scanning, & Copying
Each library branch has both scanning and fax capabilities that are available to the public at no charge. If you have questions or need assistance, contact the Research Desk at your preferred branch. Learn more about our scanning service here.
We don't have color copiers or printers at this time, but our Research librarians can help you find an office store where you can make color copies for a fee.
We have copiers at each branch. Copies are free.

Public Computers & WiFi
Free public-access computers are available for use on a first-come, first served basis. Also, all of our branches are set up with free wifi access. In addition to the Internet, you can use a number of online databases. You might also want to view our Use of Computer Resources policy.
You can use the “Download” function in Google to save the file as either a PDF or in a Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), or Powerpoint (.pptx) format, then send that file to “print@printbyxerox.com.”

No, you can email your documents to the “print@printbyxerox.com” email address from anywhere you have access to your email. You must be in a library branch in order to actually print your document on a public printer or copier.
You can print PDFs, image files (like jpegs), Word, Excel, and Powerpoint and other documents. A full list of supported file formats can be found here.

The email address from which you sent the document can always be used as your username. The password and an alternate username is sent via email to that address when you submit your first document. If you lose that email and forget your password you can reset it by clicking on the @PrintByXerox icon on a printer or copier, entering your email, then clicking on the “Forgot Password” button. Alternatively, you can reset your password from a web browser by visiting this link: xwc.services.xerox.com/Login, entering your email, then clicking on the “Reset Password” link.
Size restrictions depend upon the email service you use. Google has a 25Mb attachment size limit, while Outlook has a 20 or 50 Mb limit depending on the version. If you need to print a group of files that exceed these limits, the files may be sent in multiple emails, provided each individual file is less than your email service’s size limit. If you need to print a single file that exceeds this limit you speak with a staff member in the branch and they will help you print your document on a public NetStation.

Yes, you can select which pages to print, single- or double-sided printing, number of copies, and paper size from the interface on the printer.
Yes, the subject line cannot be left blank; otherwise, PrintByXerox will not receive your email.
