All About Lindsay
I have spent most of my life living in Virginia, and it is one of my favorite places to be. I have been a customer of CRRL libraries for decades, and I still have my original library card that I got when I was six years old. I was homeschooled all the way through high school, went to college to be a math teacher, and decided after a few years that I needed a break from public education.
Although becoming a librarian was not a career I even considered before 2020, I have always loved to read. So, when considering my options for higher education, librarianship was the natural next step. I have worked for CRRL since 2022 and have been a Teen Specialist Librarian since February 2023. Being able to foster a love of reading in young people is something I am deeply passionate about, and I love getting to introduce people to new books.
